Care & Maintenance

• After Installation: Wait at least 48 hours before washing to allow the adhesive to properly set.
• Washing: Use sulfate-free, extension-safe shampoo and conditioner, and avoid applying conditioner, oils, masks, or heavy products directly to the tape attachment area.
• Brushing: Gently brush 2–3 times per day, starting at the ends and working upward while supporting the hair near the attachment points.
• Heat Styling: Always use a heat protectant and keep styling tools below 350°F / 180°C. Avoid applying direct heat to the tape tabs.
• Drying: Make sure the attachment area is thoroughly dried after washing. Avoid going to bed with wet or damp extensions.
• Sleeping: Secure the hair in a loose braid or ponytail before sleeping. A silk or satin pillowcase or bonnet can help reduce friction and tangling.
• Swimming & Sun: Rinse promptly after exposure to chlorine or saltwater. Extended exposure to chlorine, saltwater, mineral-heavy water, and sunlight may affect the hair and adhesive.
• Professional Maintenance: Invisible Tape In Wefts are removed and re-taped as your natural hair grows, generally around every 6–8 weeks.
• Coloring: The hair can be toned or colored darker or with brighter colors. Never bleach the extensions, as bleaching can damage the hair and shorten its lifespan.
